We have been a member of the prestigious Q Guild of Butchers for over 25 years so you can be rest assured we run to a very high standard.

Our shop is open planned to show the care and attention that goes into preparing and butchering the best cuts.

Stuart Barker

OWNER + HEAD BUTCHER
Stuart has been working in the family business since he was 14 and now runs the shop with a little help from his wife Katy. He has recently started learning to play the guitar and enjoys the odd round of golf.
Brian Blackwell

BUTCHER
Brian has been in the Butcher’s trade for over 40 years in the local area. When he’s not preparing the produce to the highest standard, he enjoys dancing with his wife at the weekends.

Richard has years of experience: He's always looking to be a cut above! He has a passion for cooking and knows quite a bit about it. Please feel free to pop in and test his knowledge!
Georgia Bridges

BUTCHER
Georgia was our Saturday girl for a few years, but now you'll see her all through the week as she is now our full-time trainee butcher. She certainly knows just how to put a smile on a customer's face.

Ali is one of our longest serving members of staff joining Barkers back in 2000. He is a fantastically loyal member of staff and knows most of the regular customers better than they know themselves!

Robyn is our wonderful shop assistant and maker of many of the ready to eat products in our deli. Much like Rich, she has an extensive knowledge and passion for cooking.
